Jonathan (Jon) Williams BSc (Hons) MSyl - Colin Morgan Security Consultants

Jon Williams left the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) in January 2018 after 31 years’ service. He was nationally accredited across a range of disciplines, and has extensive experience of leading policing operations at multiple high-profile and high-threat events within London.

Jon was the operational lead for the London response to the terrorist attacks of 2017 at Westminster Bridge and at London Bridge, and the failed attack at Parsons Green in the same year. He was the principal police lead for Wembley National Stadium and for Tottenham Hotspur football club.

By the time Jon retired, he held the senior rank of Chief Superintendent (effectively head of profession) for public order policing within the capital.

Jon has led security operations at many large-scale sporting events within the UK. He is adept and experienced at navigating complex stakeholder environments, both within the UK and internationally. He is expert in providing advice and support to organisations to assist them in preparing for a wide range of potential security threats.

Jon has an Honours Degree in policing, is a member of the Security Institute, is accredited to lead safety and security operations at large public events, and possesses a range of training qualifications.
